“St. Anne is the blessed barren woman, happy mother among mothers, from whose pure womb came forth the shining temple of God, the sanctuary of the Holy Ghost, the Mother of God!”

The feast day of St. Anne is celebrated on July 26 in the Roman Catholic Church. The entire family of St. Ann’s Higher Secondary School, Eloor, celebrated St. Ann’s feast as a testament to the divine power as it has a unique role in women’s life. She is the patroness of unmarried women, women in labour or women who wish to conceive.  Provincial Superior and Manager Rev. Mother Lee Rose Plackal SABS, Rev. Fr. Ebey Edassery (Vicar, St. Ann’s Church, Eloor), Principal of St. Ann’s Higher Secondary School Rev. Sr. Dr. Susy Cholenkerry SABS, Principal of St. Ann’s Public School Rev. Sr. Dr. Pushpa Plackal SABS, PTA President Mr. Dama Davis, Teaching and Non – Teaching staff along with the Students celebrated this pious occasion with great enthusiasm and zeal.
